--Description--
MIROFOSS is currently looking for enthusiastic and self motivated people to complete readability surveys for articles on the MIROFOSS database. This volunteer position would involve reading various article pages and filling out a survey at the end of each article which describes the ease, and or difficulty, for the team member to read the article. Team members will also have the option of reporting any graphical bugs, and links errors if they are discovered. The survey pdf can then be emailed to MIROFOSS for review. The purpose of these readability surveys to to ensure that MIROFOSS articles are easy to read and in a format that the general population can understand. The hours required for this volunteer position are various and there are not many strict deadlines. Team members will be required to have regular updates with MIROFOSS staff via email or Facebook to discuss article issues and general volunteer status. Volunteers that have completed 15 hours of service to MIROFOSS will have their names added to the volunteer appreciation list. Volunteers that have completed 40 or more hours of service will also receive a personalized reference letter which they can use for there future careers.

--Position Requirements--
Applicants applying for this position should ensure that they meet the following requirements:

- Access to a computer or a tablet which can display html documents and North American text.
- Access to a device which can read pdf documents.
- Access to a personal and confidential email address to send and receive correspondence from MIROFOSS.
- Ability to legally send and receive data from their country of residence to CANADA.
- A working command of the English language

An interest in geology, biology, and Earth Sciences would be considered an asset; However, it is not a position requirement because we are trying to create readability standards for all areas of interest. Access to a Facebook account to link to the MIROFOSS foundation would also be beneficial.
