Raphilite is another name for the mineral tremolite and not a valid name for a mineral.

The name raphilite was given by Thomson (1836) to a mineral found in the township of Perth, Canada. It is derived from the greek rhaphis which means needle, referring to the acicular appearance of the mineral.
